Your BUNKER
Background…
We had to participate in one interesting project, where a private American company received an order from the US Department of Defense. It was a bomb shelter project, the intended purpose of which we do not know, this is classified information.
But the essence of the project is that it is a safe steel capsule, where up to 8 people can stay, everything is thought out for autonomous operation. Downstairs in the technical underground (under the floor) is all the bunker engineering. Water supply 1 thousand liters with heating and reverse osmosis for the preparation of drinking water. Ventilation is supply and exhaust, with the function of anti-radiation safety, and with the ability to work when the electricity runs out completely. Autonomous heating system and backup electricity system (batteries are in a fire-fighting box separate from the bunker) with parallel connection of the generator.
In the original project there were nuances that in our project we refined to our ideal. We replaced the American excess pressure valves (which occur as a result if an explosion or detonation occurs near the bunker) with Israeli ones – which are much more effective, and we improved all the details and elements that could be improved.
Who needs such a bunker?! Our main client is the one who has an already built house, but does not have a basement. Or the house itself is not so strong, and you want to get more protection.
Of the possible options, you can make a direct entrance from the house to the bunker. You can make the entrance to the bunker like an entrance to the cellar or the entrance door can be flat at the terrace level. There is a second emergency exit in the bunker, it can be made, or you can remove it. And in general, we are flexible in design, and we can refine the project based on those architectural moments of your house that exist and “dictate the conditions”.
Construction of the bunker itself: we prepare the entire structure in advance at our production facility, then we arrive with a small excavator (or manually, depending on the accessibility of your site), start digging to the dimensions of the bunker, then we mount the finished bunker with a crane and bury it, do a number of other works, and your Safe Place is ready.
