a safe room-bunker in your house
Continuation of our bunker projects, now it is a Safe Room (or protective capsule). This is a reinforced room designed to protect residents during emergencies, such as suicide bombings and missile attacks. Such a project can be implemented in a small room, in an existing house or apartment. We implemented this project in a room measuring 1.7×2 m.
The design of the project is a shell made of solid sheet metal 10 mm thick with a noise insulation coating and protection against vibrations (protection against concussion). As an internal reinforced frame, beams of the DSTU profile assortment with a load of category 4 up to 1010 kPa were used
In essence, you get a safe shell – a capsule, according to the same principle as is used in automotive safety.
